Slipstream is currently reading for Issue #47 which will explore the theme of "THE LITTLE THINGS" Highly interpretive submissions are encouraged.
Deadline for submissions for the theme issue is: May 31, 2027.
Submit up to FIVE (5) PAGES of original, unpublished poems in ONE DOCUMENT FILE ONLY. (We consider a piece published if it has previously appeared in print or in any electronic form). Simultaneous submissions are fine but please notify us immediately should a poem or submission be accepted elsewhere--using the MESSAGES feature in Submittable.
Please do not submit or re-submit work again until you have received a response on the status of your current submission. WE DO NOT accommodate revisions to work once submitted for consideration.
All rights revert to author upon publication and payment is one copy of the issue in which your work appears.
We prefer contemporary urban themes—writing from the gut that is not afraid to bark or bite—and shy away from pastoral, religious, and rhyming verse.
